Location

The park is set in and around a walled kitchen garden, originally dating back to the 1800’s and is very much in keeping with local tradition. In tribute to the site’s heritage, the lodges here at Hilltop are complemented by the use of sandstone paving and locally sourced stonewalling.

Despite being just 2 miles from Kendal town centre, the sheltered setting, accessed by a private driveway through mature woodland, allows you to escape from it all and relax in restful surroundings.

With no roads visible, the site offers unspoilt views across the surrounding countryside with easy access to local footpaths. In fact, it’s so private the only company you’re likely to see are the local wildlife with deer, buzzards, owls and badgers amongst some of our most frequent visitors.
